Who are we:
AUXFIN, in the Netherlands was incorporated in March 1996 in the Netherlands. The company strategic direction is to develop, install and maintain a MFI (Microfinance institution) banking platform.
The software developed by AUXFIN is mainly web-based and hosted on a Linux platform AUXFIN is seeking staff for the administration of our system & network and assist in developing methods to offshore system resources such as locally placed CDN (Content Delivery Network) servers in the rural areas of Africa.

• Ensuring that AUXFAM's applications are up and running
• Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues
• Introducing and integrating new technologies
• Performing routine audits on systems and software
• Performing backups
• Applying OS updates, patches, and configuration changes
• Installing and configuring new software and hardware
• Adding, removing, or updating users, resetting passwords, etc
• Answering technical questions
• Responsibility for security
• Responsibility for documentation
• Troubleshooting any reported problems
• System performance tuning

Requirements:
As an administrator you have a good amount of the following skills and knowledge;

• OS:
CentOS 6.x (server), Windows XP and up

• Application:
XEN/KVM (Virtualization), DNS(masq), FTP, Skype

• Web:
Apache .2.x, Apache modules (WebDAV, Proxy and Reverse Proxy, PHP, Perl, Auth, Rewrite,...), Nginx

• Browser:
IE8 and up), Firefox and others

• Security:
Firewall (iptables), OpenSSL , SSH, SCP, SE Linux, Snort, Fail2ban, Hardening Linux.

• Tools:
Webmin (System Configuration Tool), iRedMail, Logwatch (Monitoring)

• Building:
Building system applications from source, (configure, compile, test and install)

• Backup:
Tar

• Email:
Postfix, Dovecot, Outlook and others, IMAP(S), SMTP(S)

• DBMS:
PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL

• Network:
TCP/IP, UDP, VLAN, Bridge. NFS (4)

• Language:
English and other languages are welcome

• Misc
Perl, PHP5, SQL, shell scripting, Python, secure FTP, Linux Kernel

Qualification :
